37km drive north through wilderness and dirt road to the furthest point (and around the corner) of Mayto Beach. Calm almost waveless beach and a sleepy fishing town. Great for taking a picnic, a cooler with some cold ones and a an umbrella. Only one restaurant (Fury's- if you order, make sure to ask well in advance, they like to take their sweet time!) and a couple of stores.
