Waterfall and bushwalk
As you exit the front gate of the property, turn right and drive about 2 minutes towards Robertson. You will see the signs for Carrington Falls. Turn left and follow the signs to the Carrington Falls Carpark.
From here, you will walk down the path to the first amazing lookout of the falls. Continue along to s second lookout. And finally, you will arrive at the to of the falls where you can wade in the water and walk along the rocks. Some people take a dip in the pool right at the top where the water falls, but we don’t recommend getting that close as it’s as long way down!

33 minutes drive down Jamberoo Mountain Road you’ll explore the ancient landscape of subtropical and warm temperate rainforest, dense with Cabbage tree palms, hanging vines, strangler figs and hundreds of other incredible plants.
There are hanging bridges and metal boardwalks which make the walk a breeze. Unless you want to visit the gorgeous Minnamurra Waterfall, which does involve a very steep path. It’s worth it though and there are benches along the way to take a break if needed! Please be advised it may take longer to drive here if Jamberoo Mountain road is closed.

345 Minnamurra Falls Rd33 minutes drive down Jamberoo Mountain Road you’ll explore the ancient landscape of subtropical and warm temperate rainforest, dense with Cabbage tree palms, hanging vines, strangler figs and hundreds of other incredible plants.

They range in height between 77–130 metres (253–427 ft) and are best viewed from the Hindmarsh Lookout, accessible via a short walk from a road heading south east from Burrawang. The whole walk takes about an hour and has stunning views!
Also only a 20 minute drive, is a popular stopping point with substantial parking and catering facilities provided, together with pathways and boardwalks that enable able-bodied visitors to view the falls and other natural features.
We have walked part of the West Rim of Fitzroy Falls, which was stunning! We think the whole west rim takes about 2 hours return.

Officially the highest Zipline in Australia, the Zipline Tour is a unique eco-wilderness adventure that takes place in the magnificent Illawarra Rainforest. The Tour involves flying on a series of elevated cable spans and navigating suspension bridges from one tree platform to another, some 35 metres above the forest floor.

The town of Robertson is home of the Big Potato! But also a place where you can find everything you need. There is an IGA, a fruit shop and butcher and chemist, a pub called the Robertson Public House, cafes including Moonacre and Urban Food Tribe, the Robertson Cheese Factory, a Thai Restaurant called Siam Mist Thai, and not to miss is Pizzas in the Mist Restaurant! There is also an awesome food truck called Elwrays. They have amazing coffee and the best burgers and are located just past the pub. If you are after coffee and cake or a nice drink at a cosy bar we recommend the cafe and bar at The Robertson, which is an old monastery converted into a hotel. And not to mention the Famous Robertson Pie Shop, the closest place to the tiny home and is open every day except Christmas day!
