Playa Grande Beach
Our local beach is a hidden gem of Panama. There is natural shade, but no other facilities so take with you what you will need for the day. To get there exit the property to the left and then go straight. Once you leave the property it is a 5-7 min walk. The last part of the walk is a trail so it is better to leave your car at the property and walk, as you can’t drive to the beach. The sand beach is great for swimming and walking. As with all beaches on the Panama Pacific there is a significant tidal difference between high and low tides. Some days are as calm as a swimming pool and some days there is a large shore break and swimming is not recommended (non swimming days are very rare). As with any beach you are not familiar with, be responsible especially with small children.
If you have a group of 6 or more people we can offer your group a fun SUP lesson at our local beach.
$160 is the base rate for 6 people, additional persons are $20/person.
We REQUIRE 24-hour notice. SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

How to get here without a car...
To get to our place with public transport from Panama City Albrook Bus Terminal you get a bus to either San Carolos or Las Uvas. From either of those towns you can get a taxi to our place.
If you are arriving without a car we recommend that you stock up on food, as the closest local grocery store or restaurant is a 20 minute walk away. Our property does not have a restaurant or breakfast service.
