We are situated in two minutes’ walk from the main street - Corso Vittorio Veneto which leads to the square Piazza Rimembranze and further on to the lungomare ( seafront) Pietre Nere where you can enjoy sitting in front of the sea and trying the local artisan ice cream in the place called Gelateria Fantasy or another one - Artigianale . Just before the square on the right you can see the local municipal building with the clock on the top and have a walk in the small local park ( Villa Communale). You can also see a couple of small churches left and right. After the square on the right there is a XVth century tower - Torre Cabrera overlooking the sea. Honestly, Pozzallo isn't great for sightseeing. But there is a possibility to take a train to Modica ( about 20 minutes ride) famous for its splendid barocco architecture and have a day’s walk, seeing its magnificent cathedrals, palaces, an ancient castle on the top of the rock with awesome panoramic views and wandering its narrow old town streets. I'm sure you'll love it. There are some other fabulous locations in the 30-40 km distance from Pozzallo if you are eager to explore this part of Sicily- Siracuse - a must see, Scicli, Noto, Ragusa and Donna Fugata Castle - highly recommended, Marzameni, Vendicari Nature Reserve and many more:))
