There is limited public transport in this rural location with infrequent bus services to/from Street and Castle Cary. The nearest railway station is at Castle Cary (regular services from London to Penzance) but recommend you book a taxi in advance

Eating out in Baltonsborough
The village pub (Greyhound) does not do food and is old school (cash only). On most Thursday evenings a mobile fish and chip van is located at the pub and on Fridays a mobile wood fired Pizza wagon is parked at the school. The Lion (West Pennard) is a gastropub and the Cross Keys (Lydford) offers traditional pub fare.
