Parks and Recreation
Nice park by Jamaica Bay. You can walk by the water, have a picnic, or just sit and watch the planes take off from JFK. I DO NOT recommend swimming in that bay. It’s dirty and quite a few water rescues have been made due to a string undertow! There are no life guards as it is not considered a beach. Just a nice place to walk and interact with the local population.
