Sightseeing , eating and drinking

A pub with a great view and some good eating and drinking too!
This is our real local - just a hop away from the front door. You'll love to sit outside and watch the boats in the harbour (we also have some very large ships that loom across this view which is always an intriguing things to see). In the winter they put the carpet down and have a wood-burning stove, you can see the harbour whist sipping something warming! Good standard pub fare served here.

Music and drinking

This is arguably the best pub in Teignmouth though it has some competition as some others have better views. However it is the one with a real local feel to it - a pool table (unless there is an event) darts board and a good beer garden where they often have bands in milder weather. Frequent live music. Ring the pub for upcoming gigs.

Pub fare, real ales and cafe style bar

Lovely decor - cafe style restaurant bar.
We love to take the passenger ferry across to Shaldon - just a 3 minute trip across the estuary - and walk up to the Ness for coffee and cake or a drink and dinner. Booking may be necessary if you want to eat inside. In fine weather the you can eat outside without reservation. The views are stunning.
