BEACHES Near the Apartment
Pula has a very unaffected nature and crystal clear sea. It is known as a city with the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Most of the beaches in Pula are maintained and easily accessible and are located in the vicinity of the resorts and hotels. Most of them have free parking. Most of the beaches are rocky and gravel with a few sand beaches. Entrance is free without charge. There are also specially marked beaches where pets are allowed. Many of the beaches have been awarded with a Blue Flag, which is prove of clear sea and great facilities.

Lungomare is a well-known boardwalk in Pula located between Beach Valkane and Soline Cove. It is 4 km long, and is settled inside the thick pine woods. There are three beaches connected to the boardwalk: Valkane, Gortan Cove and Valsaline (Mornar). Near the boardwalk there is a recreational path with exercise devices. There are free parking spaces along the whole length of the boardwalk. During the day, Lungomare is filled with walkers and recreation lovers, and in the evening it becomes filled with young people. We recommend the walk around the magnificent sunset before evening hours.

Close to Pula as well as some of the other resort towns in the area, the park is an excellent and relaxing way to spend a day and is highly recommended. With an unusual landscape, miles of rugged coastline and beaches to enjoy, coves and caves to explore, a quirky ‘safari bar’ and even some animals to (hopefully!) see, it’s definitely worth an outing.
