Guidebook for Columbia

There are few really good ones within walking distance. Rockaway Athletic Club (odd name, yes) is a cult-classic type bar with amazing burgers and cheap beers. It’s a bit of a dive but the service and burgers are great. There’s 5th Ave Deli on Rosewood which is a solid lunch option, and the new Hunter Gatherer Hangar Brewery is a 8-10 minute walk. It’s down by the Owen’s Airport and has fantastic pizza and craft beer. Our favorites downtown include Bourbon, Cola’s, Nonnah’s, and Motor Supply. Pricier American food but worth it. Bourbon’s got a great happy hour burger and drink special. Cola’s has fantastic food and a great wine selection. Nonnah’s has a four course meal for two that’s hand-crafted daily. Motor Supply is classic classy American. There are also some well-known hits in the area as well (Flying Saucer, Mellow Mushroom, and World of Beer). In five points we’d suggest Publico for tacos and beer and Cellar on Green for their lobster mac and great wine selection.
