The Gloucester Docks is one of our favourites. It is a food haven, full of history - the docks are home to one of the greatest shows in the nautical calendar in our eyes - Tall Ships - usually held in June you can see the ships move up the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal up into the ‘basins’ at the docks where they are moored during a weekend of fun for all the family.

The Severn Bore is one of the strangest, most exciting events that people flock to see (see the high tide times).
