Beautiful beach, good for surfing and a dip (be aware of the rip). Scramble off the up northern rocks to find natural rock pool great for kids. Keep an eye out for wales and dolphins.

Has a beautiful estuary which is fantastic for the kids to play. Late afternoon as the sunset is the perfect time (BYO wine ;)

Protected beach great for paddle-boarding, swim, snorkeling, Feed the stringrays(next to the boat ramp) . Best beach for kids! You can access by car or by following trail at Inyadda Beach entrance.

Walk down the hill to go fishing at Berringer Lake.
Food Scene
Lovely little town with little shops to explore and variety of restaurants (Pilgrims my favorite). Listen to some live music at the Commercial Hotel or Star Hotel. It has a IGA supermarket.

This is where we normally get our groceries on the way from Sydney. We find it fresh and at good prices. Nowra has also Wollies and Coles.

Feel free to use our rackets and visit the local tennis court. There is also a skate-ramp there. Kangaroos normally gather around there late afternoon (please do not feed them, they are not pets ;)
