Parks & Nature
Marjan is the locals' favourite spot for jogging, biking, walking and relaxation in general. You can take the paved road all around Marija (ca. 8-9 km), or enjoy one of the many trails trough the forrest. Marjan is closed for traffic (apart from local buses), so it's very quiet. Go there to listen to birds, and watch the sea. In summer it's a very popular, non-touristy spot for swimming as well. If you're ambitious you can climb to the top of Marjan. You will have a stunning view on the city and neighbouring islands from there.
