From the center of Ljubljana you can take a walk to the top at Rožnik where the famous Slovenian writer Ivan Cankar lived.
There are several paths to the top of Rožnik, for me the favorite is from Tivoli Park past Cekin Castle and it takes about half an hour to get to the top. When we get up there I recommend tea and traditional flancat
