Private completely renovated two bedroom cottage located in the heart of Golden.
This home comfortably sleeps six with three queen beds. The second bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed. The master bedroom has a separate private sunroom attached. This is perfect extra space for meditation, a baby room, or an extra guest.
The home has a private patio with a large oversized BBQ, a picnic table that seats 8 and a cushy love seat under the covered porch.

Completely remodeled home with modern open floor plan. We have a new 60 in flat screen "smart" TV with 6 point surround sound. The system is Blue Tooth compatible for playing music. The eat in kitchen features a high top kitchen table that seats 4 but expands to seat 6 with built in table leaf. The master features a private enclosed patio attached for multiple uses such as extra bedroom or babies crib or even meditation. We also have a private patio for relaxing after a long active day. The patio features a picnic table that seats 8, and an extra large BBQ.

We are situated in the heart of Golden, 4 blocks from the downtown Visitor Center. We have mountain/road bike in bike out, hiking, Clear Creek Kayak Park, Coal Creek Canyon climbing, famous Red Rocks amphitheater all with in minutes of Golden. Downtown Golden offers shopping, bars, restaurants and even Millers Play House. Downtown also offers bike, kayak and mountaineering stores as well as a handful of microbreweries. We are also 5 to 6 blocks (5 minute walk) to the School of Mines.

I relocated to Colorado 31 years ago from Chicago and love everything Colorado has to offer. Living on the front range in Golden has given me the opportunity to take advantage of year round beautiful weather. I enjoy hiking, biking, softball and camping. I love the small mountain town atmosphere in Golden. You can walk downtown to bars, restaurants, shops and breweries to experience the small town charm. living so close to the mountains also gives me the opportunity to visit my favorite ski resort, Steamboat. As far as some of my favorite things, I cannot live without Chipotle, which began in Colorado around the same time that I arrived here. I have eaten there every week since it opened.
I am a carpenter by trade, but can maintain all components of the home. I am proud to have guests enjoy the fruits of my labor as The Golden Cottage was completely remodeled from top to bottom to give our guests the best possible experience. I particularly enjoyed building the kitchen cabinets by hand. While you stay at the Golden Cottage for your vacation, I am sure you will fall in love with Colorado as I did.
