Pelican's Porch Beach House is a 3BR/3.5BA home overlooking a birding paradise in the nature preserve at Paradise Pointe in Port Aransas. At 1600 sq ft, it accommodates 10 guests comfortably. It offers amazing views with island and migratory birds at the beautiful nature preserve. A private pool, large game room, ample parking, oversized deck, spacious living/kitchen/dining space plus the best views in Port A, will make this one a guest fave! Pets considered with fee. Pelican's Porch Port A Beach House is located in Port Aransas, TX in Paradise Pointe, which is a quiet neighborhood on a loop on the west side of Hwy 361. It overlooks the nature preserve which is home to many island and migratory birds - perfect for the bird watchers! It's about 5 blocks to the beach and you take your vehicle, rent and ride bikes or take a nice walk! Pelican's Porch accommodates up to 10 people throughout 1600 square feet.

Pulling into the neighborhood, you know right away that you are in a very nice Port Aransas community. The houses are beautiful, surrounded by the wetlands, nature preserve and wildlife! There is a community pool although Pelican's Porch has a private pool, just for you! A fountain and pond in the center of the neighborhood adds to the beauty and charm of this amazing area.

As you drive up to Pelican's Porch, you will see there is plenty of parking space for up to 4-5 vehicles and boat parking allowed in the driveway. Downstairs, fenced and gated is a gorgeous private pool, outdoor shower, grill, pool toys and again, those amazing views! There is a propane fire pit for your evening and/or chilly night enjoyment! Or head on into the garage where a game room set up awaits you...pop a shot basketball, air hockey, ring toss and many more games adults and kiddos will enjoy! Everything is ready for family fun!

As you make your way up the steps to the main floor, you'll stop along the way and take in the views and watch all of the birds of paradise. Binoculars and cameras are welcomed! It will all take your breath away! You'll make it to the top deck and although the house is stunning on the interior, you'll stop here for awhile to see the view, feel the sea breeze and relax on the patio!

Inside Pelican's Porch you are welcomed to beautiful tile floors, shiplap, a large open area for living, kitchen and dining. There is no shortage on seating here!

The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, flatware, serving supplies, glasses, mugs, wine glasses...anything and everything you need to prep, cook and serve a beautiful meal! Modern conveniences include dishwasher, coffee maker/kcup combo, microwave, toaster and blender. We provide s start supply of dishwasher soap and trash bags as well.

Continue on to the bedrooms which as perfect space for everyone! 2 King Bedrooms Suites with ensuite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and guest closets - both open to a balcony to catch those sunsets!

The guest bedroom has 2 bunk beds, full over full and twin over twin, closet and TV as well. A full guest bathroom is in the hallway.

A full size laundry closet with washer & dryer and a starter supply of laundry detergent is for your use along with iron and ironing board.

All bathrooms are beautifully designed with gorgeous tiled showers and granite counter tops. Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided along with a starter supply of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, 2 rolls of toilet paper. A hair dryer is also available.

Pets are considered with a pet fee. Non aggressive breeds only please. No pets on furniture please. Guests are responsible for their pets and cleaning up after them.

Children are welcome but there is no childproofing. You must remain with your children at all times.

House Rules and Things to Note:

Minimum Age to Rent is 24.
NO SMOKING in the property. This is a non smoking property. $500 fee will be added if smoke odor is present in the home.
No Parties/Events.
Quiet Hours 10pm to 7am – Enforced.
Not responsible for accidents.
There is no child proofing; you must remain with your children at all times.
Must be able to walk stairs.
No more than 10guests.
No late check outs after 10:15am or another night's stay will be charged.

Check in Time is approx time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4pm but there is no guarantee.

Pets considered with full disclosure and pet fee paid prior to arrival.

STARTER set for guests to include trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and shower gel. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night.

Guests are responsible for their own beach chairs, beach towels and pool towels. Our linens and towels are NOT to be removed from the property for any reason. Guests will be charged linen fees for misuse of linens to include stains, tearing, etc.

Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.

Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time.

There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if community pool is closed for cleaning, repair or maintenance.

If police are called to the property for any reason, a $500 fee will be assessed and guests will be required to vacate the property with no refund.

We offer our guests a guide for our fave restaurants, activities, bars, nightlife, golf cart rental discounts and many other recommendations.

We are Jim Sokoloski and Chuma Jerome, your vacation rental hosts and founders of SWAY, a personal, vacation rental host marketing and management company for short term, vacation rental properties, currently located in Port Aransas, TX and have recently expanded into Corpus Christi on the North Padre Island side.

We are a family owned business that sprung from our love of real estate, and passion for hospitality, business AND the beach! In 2017, we purchased a few properties in Port Aransas and have been successful in marketing and managing them. Our friends and neighbors noticed that we were taking our properties to the next level, guests were enjoying a better experience and they quickly asked us to manage their own piece of paradise in Port Aransas and Corpus Christ. As a result, SWAY LLC TX was born!

Our name SWAY derived from our purposeful marketing and management plan that allows the owner and guest to relax - your stay will be amazing as a guest, and your property will be well marketed and managed as an owner. It is the SWAY way!
