Our backyard retreat is full of modern amenities that include a full kitchen, queen murphy bed with sofa, washer and dryer and patio for relaxing. Adventure awaits in this little gem of a neighborhood. Spend the day at the beach, Golden Gardens or watch the boats pass through the Ballard Locks. Once a thriving Scandanavian fishing town Ballard is now full of award winning restaurants, breweries and boutiques.

Hi, We're Cary and Joel Flank from Seattle, Wa. We love travelling to different destinations and learning new cultures. We more recently started traveling internationally to Europe. We love the idea of Airbnb because it's more personal and homely feeling. I also love to cook and love shopping at markets for local and organic ingredients to prepare special dishes. I want to be immersed in the city I'm visiting so I get the experience of a true local.

We enjoy finding activities to do that are a little more off the beaten path. For example, flea markets, churches, anything related to tea and ghost tours.

We believe that everyone should love the life they live and travel as often as they can because life is short.
