Our house is located in right in between both UQO universities in the Hull sector of Gatineau, Ottawa's neighbor. We are extremely well located if you plan to cross the river to Ottawa. Carleton and Ottawa Universities are a 20 minutes bus ride. The Byward Market is a 10 minutes ride. The 5 bridges leading to Ottawa are all within 5 to 7 minutes drive. We have an excellent public transportation system.

This apartment was made with student accommodations in mind. A working desk with a chair will let you work many long hours. Within 500 meters, we are surrounded by both UQO universities (Taché + Lucien-Brault) in Gatineau (Hull sector) and Universal College. Also nearby is the Mexican UNAM university (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico).

Housekeeping cleaning products are included upon your arrival. We can clean your private room upon request (40$). We live in a very clean city and region. Our tap water is safe to drink and tastes pretty good. We encourage good habits for recycling and composting. Plenty of recycling bins are at your disposal.

The bedroom is equipped with a 42" TV and a Amazon Firestick with all the apps you need such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Crackle, Hubi, Plex, etc. We are equipped with the fastest internet optic fiber connection with unlimited bandwidth on a secured business 1Gb network, great streaming at anytime.

Discover our winter with snow season from December to April
We are 2 minutes away from the National Gatineau Park. Our home is located at the exit of the Promenade du Lac des Fées which offers 4 biking/walking paths within 2 minutes walk. The National park facing our house offer biking/skiing paths. Cross our street and here you go, ready to ski the Gatineau Park with approximately 15km of paved tracks leading to the small picturesque village of Chelsea, Québec. It's specially beautiful in fall, winter and summer.

Experience our local nightlife!
We are located near the Vieux-Hull downtown entertainment district (2Km) & the Ottawa ByWard Market nightlife district (3Km). A driving service is available until 4am and multiple local taxi service are available 24/7. Ottawa-Gatineau has many museums, theaters, parks and other interesting attractions.

A wireless 24/7 camera is installed in the rear parking lot. Every entrances are well lit. Being in the National Capital region and neighbor to Ottawa has its perks! You will be living in the Hull sector of the city of Gatineau. Our "island" is surrounded by rivers, parks, hiking & biking paths, mountains and trees. Hull sector is bounded by the Ottawa River, the Gatineau River and the Ruisseau de la Brasserie (Brewer's Creek). Hull was infamously known for its nightlife main strip in the 90's. Now the nightlife sector is smaller but much better in the Aubry/Laval sector.

Also, within a walking distance, we are located in between our 3 local universities: UQO Tache , UQO Lucien-Brault and the UNAM, the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Also, within 20 minutes, University of Ottawa and Carleton University. University of St-Paul is 25 minutes away.

If you love walking in the parks, you will be in heaven! We are in the middle of 3 national recreation parks. We are facing the National Gatineau Park. Our dwell is located at the exit of the Promenade du Lac des Fées which offers 4 biking/walking paths within 2 minutes walk, literally one of those path is across the street of our house!

Discover our snow season from December to April ! The National Gatineau park is 50 steps from our house, bike & skiing paths are abundant. Cross our street and here you go with approximately 15km of paved tracks. By following the Gatineau parkway, you may adventure yourself in the small picturesque village of Chelsea, Québec. It's specially beautiful in fall, and majestic in winter and summer.

Our neighborhood is multicultural. We have a lot of travelers, interns and students coming from all over the world. There's a mosque within a 5 minutes' walk, a Christian church and various chapels (St-Joseph boulevard) within 15 minutes walk, a Portuguese church within 10 minutes (Notre-Dame-de-Fatima) and an Orthodox church 5 minutes away.

Our best recommendation for food!
A great local restaurant for breakfast and lunch is located next door. Well priced, friendly service, excellent Canadian cuisine. For those vintage collectors, Resto Chez Mo-Nik surrounding theme is the Coca-Cola memorabilia.

We offer a personal driving service with our 5 door Mercedes family car. We can pick you up or bring you back to the Ottawa airport ($40 per trip), Ottawa Via Railway train station ($30 per trip) or Greyhound/Voyageur bus station ($25 per trip).

I can guide you to the best local restaurants, bars and nightclubs. We are located near the Vieux-Hull downtown French entertainment district (7 minutes), the English Ottawa ByWard Market nightlife district (10 min) and the Little Italy (10 min). Since this is a private apartment with a private entrance, you can allow yourself coming late without disturbing anyone.

We clean the common spaces regularly. We can also clean your private room upon request for 25$.
