Easy parking on the street next to the house. ===== The perfect place to visit eastern Sicily. Halfway between l' ETNA and TAORMINA. Easy access to the motorway (A18) for CATANIA, SIRACUSA, MESSINA and PALERMO (A19). Located on the slopes of Mount ETNA NORD-PIANO PROVENZANA and in the center of the village, the location offers many outdoor activities for the whole family.

A bedroom, with a bathroom on the second floor of a three-level house. Access to the second floor is from an entrance on the ground floor, which opens onto a marble staircase. Guests climb 32 steps to the second floor landing.

The bedroom has a queen-size bed. Therefore, the unit can comfortably accommodate two (2) guests who share a queen bed. The dining / living room can accommodate from four to six.

It is understood that guests who stay here at any time know each other.

The well-appointed second-floor apartment offers a light and airy design. From the foyer you open the doors of the (1) bedroom, a full bathroom, a small well-equipped kitchen and a dining / living room. French glass-paneled doors in the bedrooms and the living / dining room open onto balconies.

The "Catania" bedroom overlooks a private alley. The dining / living room overlooks a side street paved in lava stone. The rooms are equipped with tower fans. The bathroom and kitchen open onto a light well that runs from the first floor to the roof terrace.

All rooms are equipped with high-end furnishings, quality accessories and fine linens. The dining room and the kitchen are equipped with quality crockery and crockery.

The house is located in a residential area in the center of Linguaglossa. As such, you will live life as the locals do: bustling with traffic and activities during the day, quiet at night.

What I love about the neighborhood is that you can walk two blocks to grocery stores, butchers, deli counters, food shops, coffee / pastry shops with sidewalk seating in season.

You can buy dishes prepared from a diner(Tavola Calda) or dine in a refined restaurant with white tablecloths nearby.

You can walk to banks (ATMs), post office, pharmacies and first aid station(Emergency Room).

Linguaglossa, 5,000 inhabitants, is a picturesque town at the foot of mount Etna. It is 550 meters (1600 feet) above sea level and enjoys a unique micro-climate: warm / very hot during the day, cool in the evening. It is 20 minutes from mount Etna and Taormina, 15 minutes from the sea and 50 minutes from Fontanarossa, Catania's airport.

From Linguaglossa as a base, you can experience eastern Sicily by taking day trips to the Alcantara Gorges, to Taormina, to Messina, to the Aeolian Islands to the northeast; Catania, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Syracuse, Noto and Agrigento to the southeast.
Many small picturesque and historic towns from the coast of the Ionian sea to Enna on earth are a day trip away. Do not miss the city of Savoca, scene of a scene of "The Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola, the medieval town of Randazzo, and the city of Agira, at the top of the hill, near Enna, once a thriving Greek colony and today site of "Sicilia Outlet Village" with its over 100 stores of well-known brands.

A Linguaglossa native, nearly 10 years ago I acquired this townhouse built where my grand-parents 2-room house once stood. The three story structure has one apartment on each floor.

The exquisitely furnished second floor apartment-home is a place I would be happy to arrive at myself as a guest. As a host, I will strive to make your stay as perfect and comfortable as possible.

I divide my time between New York City and Linguaglossa where I cultivate parcels of land, some of which have been in my family over 100 years.
These parcels of land, located on the slopes and on the hills overlooking Mt. Etna, include a variety of fruit trees, a vineyard, and about 500 olive trees indigenous to the area.
These olive trees, ranging in age from very young to very old, produce “Valli dell'Etna Extra Vergine Olio di Oliva”, which I share with an exclusive clientele of friends and family in Sicily and the US.
