Than we'll bike through a park, to the most ancient Roman road, the Appian Way, with glimpses of rare beauty, and get to the ancient Roman Aqueducts immersed in typical Mediterranean nature. The ride is relaxing, with many stops, the pace is slow, you get to see Rome off the beaten path, enjoying the surprising beauty of mother nature and ancient ruins, just a few kilometers apart from the hustle and bustle of the city center. So GET READY TO RIDE FOR ALMOST 15 KM (10 MILES), through some of the city’s most unique sightseeing, discover hidden spots in nature, see some of the unknown gems of Rome and get back to your place with perfect pictures. I am an Italian Chef, cooking has always been my passion and I am looking forward to sharing it with you. We will use a selection of ingredients from local organic producers as I strongly believe in the importance of quality to make simple dishes with great taste. My professional kitchen, with all its facilities, will contribute to make this experience even more memorable. You will learn how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real laboratory of pasta, reviewed among the "best 10 pastificio in Rome" . We will start with handmade pasta, made with different kind of flours: like ancient grain Triticum Monococcum, Grano Saraceno (buckwheat) and wholemeal flour. We will do thin sheets dough, explanation of safe food cutting procedures, realization of three types of ravioli, tortellini, fettuccine with two typical Italian sauces. We will discover the art of cooking Roman Pizza and we will have a Wine Tour in a unique context, my family' 17th century wine farmhouse, immersed in Frascati's vineyards (only 24 minutes train ride from Rome!). Here at the farmhouse, breads and pizzas used to be cooked for local farmers and lots of wines were produced. Today my family cultivates a family-run vineyard, to produce boutique wines and extra virgin olive oil, and serve local specialties in the tasting room. We will meet in Frascati station and we will then accompany you to my family farmhouse to discover panoramic scenarios and visiting the old cellar with a guided Wine tour of the vineyard and old cellar! We will meet our experienced Pizza Maestro, to make you discover the art of cooking the roman Pizza from scratch, The class will happen either at the farmhouse or at the former family tavern in town after the wine tasting experience. Please fully read the description. I want to show you not the usual turistic spot but very beautiful places I love. 3 amazing spots: 2 seaside bays and 1 river spot. We'll move along the North coast close to the town of Terrasini, snorkeling, exploring and discovering the Mediterranean environment. All the spots are rather ROCKY with a very clean blue and turquoise water, and the last one will include some natural hot springs along a river, to finish relaxing in the warm water. This tour will be the best way to discover and enjoy the nature of Sicily. It's up to the host (and conditions) to start the tour visiting a nice sandy beach on the way. Lunch is around 1.30 p.m. with the possibility to eat traditional pasta with fresh fish, street food or ice cream (lunch not included). Be prepared to live a unique experience, in contact with dogs and nature! Take a break from the city chaos that fills our days every day. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Depending on the period we will go to different types of woods and the meeting point may change. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember. Long, comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.
