See Boston from an electric bike ("e-bike") in a small group setting! I provide a quality e-bike, bike helmet, and bottle of water. All bikes have hand brakes and gears, so for safety, all riders MUST be comfortable using both. All riders should wear a helmet for safety. We'll adjust and test the bikes for 15-20 minutes, and then we will set out on our ride. Most of our ride is on paved cycle routes with no cars, some of it in the Emerald Necklace Park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, and on the Esplanade along the Charles River. We will cycle along both sides of the river. We can stop for coffee and then ride back through Cambridge and Brookline to Jamaica Plain. There are a few places where we walk the bikes for 2-3 blocks, so guests need to be able to walk a bit. The tour lasts about 3 1/2 hours, depending on how many stops we make and how long we spend at the cafe. This tour will allow you to try an electric bike in a low-stress cycling environment. I hope to see you with the famous "e-bike grin" as you glide along! I can accommodate anyone 16 and over and taller than about 4'8". I can often accommodate different dates and times. To many, the Hasidic world is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community. We kick off the experience inside a Hasidic home, and learning about what it takes to keep a Kosher home. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. Guests will be transported from a centrally-located site in San Diego county to the international border in San Ysidro. With a Permit application already completed by host from information provided by guests, crossing the border will be cut from a potential 1 hour to about 10 minutes. Along with a brief historical account and cultural explanation, the experience will include a visit to the Friendship Park, a stroll through historic Revolucion street, as well as a the visit to several iconic areas of the city which will lead to a better understanding of its development. Visitors will also explore a colorful local market, where they will interact with local vendors, learn about, and have the opportunity to sample indigenous foods. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local food court where guests will have the opportunity to savor Tijuana's fusion cuisine, also known as Baja-Med. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). What a wonderful opportunity to snuggle the famous Valais Blacknose Sheep, often referred to as "the Cutest Sheep in the World" in person. These sheep have a cult like following all over the world and now they are here in the United States as well! Grateful Acres is part of the Valais Blacknose Sheep breed-up program in North America, and our farm was the very 1st domestic purebred lambs in the USA! During your experience you will be able to meet and pet our lambs and sheep while trying not to fall in love. Last year the first domestic purebred ewe lambs, with little Joanne and Juniper were born and this year we are even more excited to announce the addition of 2 more purebred lambs, Kyrie and Kismet! This experience comes complete with a professional photographer! All photos come free with the experience and are edited and emailed to you electronically within 5 business days by our farm photographer. These pictures are yours to keep and there are no other costs associated, so feel free to use them as you wish. CAUTION: Valais Blacknose Sheep are VERY personable and love attention. They are often referred to as large fluffy dogs, but in sheep form. During your experience we will also share our experience in the breed up program, what it took to get them into the USA and answer any questions you may have.

Kayaking on the Monterey Bay with otters, seals and sea lions is a once in a lifetime experience. When arriving to our location across the street from the beach you will be offered gear to keep you warm based on the conditions that are ahead of us. After our safety orientation, we hit the water in no more than a group of ten kayakers per guide. We travel along the coast and near the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Fishermans Wharf. Kayakers will see California Sea Otters, Harbor Seals and Sea Lions in their natural habitat. Memories that will last a lifetime
