My favorite and arguably the most beautiful and pristine beach of the island! Platia ammos is a long and wide sandy and pebbly beach on the bottom of the cliff. It's recommended to access it by water since the staircase has major damages due to the last earthquakes. Before attempting to go down on foot ask the locals on the present condition of the slope. Once down stay away from the cliffs since at any moment stones may fall. It is not an organized beach and thus you will need to take with you a sun-umbrella, water and snacks. It's a must even if you just pass by to enjoy the sunset from the top of the cliff.

Only accessible by boat till few years ago, Platia Ammos can now be reached through climbing down about 280 steps. This is a secluded beach of impressive natural beauty. Sandy, Non Organised, Secluded, Nudism Friendly

Amazing beautiful place to swimm, you have to wlk almost 20 minutes to the beach but the view is breathtaking, looks like Myrtos beach.You can use your mean of transport only until a specific place, the you have to walk.
