The former world's longest walking street when it opened in 1962. Now only the longest in northern Europe. Great place for shopping, eating, nightlife and going for an approximately 1,1 kilometer walk.

Strøget is not the best place to go shopping and it is not worth spending time at. If you want to go shopping in downtown, you should go to the small streets instead.
