Panoply Performance Laboratory

This DIY venue—an artist’s loft that hosts intimate performances in its living room—is an incubator of the post-dance movement, featuring work from Mariana Valencia, Lorene Bouboushian, and Tess Dworman. It’s also home to some very stage-savvy cats. Refrain from snapping pictures—this experience is about being in the moment and unmediated observation. Make sure you tip generously and buy a drink or two on-site to support the performers. Artists are paid no commission and simply share the donation box at the end of the night.
