The Coolidge Homestead, also known as Calvin Coolidge Homestead District or President Calvin Coolidge State Historical Site, was the childhood home of the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge and the place where he took the presidential oath of office Although he spent most of his adult life in Northampton, Massachusetts, Coolidge often returned to the old homestead to visit his family. He never lost his fondness for Vermont and its people. Coolidge and his wife lie amid seven generations of Coolidges in the town cemetery.
