Is a Protected Natural Area, perfect for some light hiking. You can use the path to go up the montain and enjoy the views, you can walk during the low tides around the border and also you can swim.

Montana Amarilla features a secluded rocky beach that has excellent snorkeling, diving, and swimming. At low tide, you can walk along the sandstone cliffs at the foot of Montana Amarilla to a secluded beach. Be warned - clothing is optional! No matter the tide conditions, you can always hike up the mountain for stunning views of the sea and the entire area, and you can continue your walk on trails that stretch along the rocky coastline. After your walk or swim, sit back at the nearby beach bar and enjoy a cold one!

The area declared as Natural Monument because of its extraordinary beauty. You will find easily the path to go up to the top of the volcanic dome, where if the weather clear you can see the close by similar geological formation, Montana Roja (before El Medano, right after La Tejita - great long sadny beach!) One of the best place in Tenerife for snorkel and dive (good for beginner).
