130-acre urban park. Features one of four impressive statues of King Kamehameha. There is a long black sand beach here. Coconut Island Park has good swimming, including a sheltered pool for children.

So many local shops and restaurants. Take your time to really stroll down Bayfront and visit with the locals. Get to know the community. You may want to even stop at all the bulletin boards to support local events, fundraisers, concerts, workshops or markets.

A nice place for a picnic and a popular surfing, fishing and canoeing beach.Swimming is not very popular, as the water hasn’t quite gained back its clear blue shade and is colder than on other beaches
