If you're visiting in summer, we highly recommend the York Maze as an attraction for families. Located a short drive out of the city, the York Maze has a summer season of attractions & activites and boasts one of the largest Mazes in Europe! A great opportunity for kids to run round, this is best suited for families on days with good weather

This is an...amaizing attraction. The website will keep you up to date with what events are happening throughout the year as you will need to book tickets. There is pig racing, tractor rides and the Crow Mania 2 ride. There is so much family fun to be had. There is also a couple of food and drink options available and you can pay by card. Every October they host Hallowscream which is only suitable for ages 16 and over.
