Of the longest beaches of Kefalonia, the beach of Skala stretches more than five kilometers in the homonymous village on the southeastern side of the island. It is sandy, with thick, blond sand, while at the end of the sandy shore there are tall, green pine trees - almost all the way! Από τις μεγαλύτερες παραλίες της Κεφαλονιάς, η παραλία της Σκάλας εκτείνεται σε μήκος μεγαλύτερο των πέντε χιλιομέτρων, στο ομώνυμο χωριό, στα νοτιοανατολικά του νησιού. Είναι αμμώδης, με χοντρή, ξανθή άμμο, ενώ ακριβώς στο τέλος της αμμουδιάς προς την στεριά υπάρχουν πανύψηλα, καταπράσινα πεύκα – σχεδόν σε όλο το μήκος!
