I'm more excited by Kingston, Rinebeck, and Woodstock, but Catskill has some charm and appeal that's worth a visit as well :)

Main Street in Catskill is a little stretch of small town living! You’ll find some amazing local shops to browse and a handful of restaurants. Take the quick drive up the hill on Bridge Street to see the residential victorian homes that were often summer escapes for city dwellers in the early 1900’s.

This small town would be considered a bustling city in our region of the Catskills. It is full of great restaurants from all ethnicities and shopping from local stores to mega-marts. It is just about a 18 min drive away from Happy Cat Cabin. Make sure to check this town out!
