Great hiking trails and gift shop with unique redwood collections. I suggest the hike to the Observation Deck which provides a great view all the way to the ocean.

Beautiful, well-made paths among the ancient redwoods which will take you on a loop to and from the parking lot. Easy and great for families and groups. Or pack a lunch and enjoy a sunny day by the water! Just follow the small path that runs along the river until you find the perfect swimming spot!

This is a very close 20 min max drive where you can walk around a 3/4 mile trail in a grove of the largest trees in the park. The closest big bang for the time short outing to see redwood trees if you've never seen them, or even if you have!
