We are within 5 miles to the entrance of Death Valley National Park… Death Valley National Park straddles eastern California and Nevada. It's known for Titus Canyon, Furnace Creek, and Badwater Basin's salt flats, which is North America's lowest point. Telescope Peak Trail weaves past pine trees. North of the spiky salt mounds known as the Devil's Golf Course, rattlesnakes live in Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. Near Nevada is the Spanish-style mansion Scotty's Castle. The park is home to many species of plants and animals that have adapted to this harsh desert environment. Some examples include creosote bush, bighorn sheep, coyote, and the Death Valley pupfish, a survivor of much wetter times.

Want to see some amazing desert landscapes. Come check this place out! Fall-Spring season is a great time to check it out. Please don't go in summer, it gets over 125°F during the day. Deadly! Beautiful place for late evening/night stargazing. Clear skies to see the Milky Way Galaxy star formations. Prepare yourself with hydration and energy food because your are in the desert.

The Park is only minutes away from Beatty. Be prepared with plenty of water and some shade (umbrellas are a good idea to keep the sun off).
