At low tide you can cross the River Tavy on granite walk way & walk to Bere Ferres. At high tide it is a good spot to canoe, or hire paddle boards. Should you want to hire a paddle board -Contact South west SUP to find when they are next here.

The breathtaking Lopwell Dam on the upper tidal mark of the River Tavy is an excellent site for bird watching and walking. A brand new cafe and visitor centre is welcoming guests at the recently refurbished Old Pumphouse at Lopwell.
