Hidden rooftop bar- looks cooler from below than it actually is, but if you are able to go for sunset... it's worth it

The view from the rooftop terrace bar at this hotel does not disappoint. They serve beer, wine, cocktails, and appetizers.

This hotel is nothing special EXCEPT they have a rooftop bar overlooking Del Monte beach and downtown Monterey. This is definitely a hidden gem that even a lot of locals aren't wise to. They offer very reasonably priced happy hour beers on the rooftop bar that you can't beat anywhere else in downtown.
