My favorite local park for Florida nature. I always bring out of town guests here to see their first alligator.

This Hillsborough County park is a great Florida experience. There is a long boardwalk to travel through natural habitat while looking for gators, snakes, and turtles. The observation tower is great to get a bird's eye view of the river and surrounding area. I believe there is a small fee (3-5 dollars) at the gate. They also rent canoes here if that is on your bucket list. Don't fall in...the gators are pretty large in this area ;)

Nice place to walk, jog, play, see nature. Canoe rentals available. Very Florida!! You will see alligators, snakes, turtles, multiple types of birds etc.

Great place to see our flora & fauna. Quiet pathways and boardwalk. See Florida creatures in their own habitat. Picnic & play areas.
