It is a expensive, but it is a very very good italian restaurant (I am Italian and can tell!), authentic. The chef is from the Veneto region (near Venezia) so he is offering always some special dish from that region. Very good wine list too!

Chef Igor Ferraro, owner and chef of the well known "Tramezzo" gastro pub in Rome, and his wife Cristiana, opened Ferraro’s Kitchen on 79th Causeway in 2016. It is excellent for freshly made pasta and traditional Italian dishes. They have an exceptional 350 plus label Italian wine list and it is very popular on the weekends with with Upper East Side residents. Daily specials include fresh seafood crudos that take advantage of the market’s catch of the day, and the homemade pear gorgonzola gnocchi is topped with truffles.
