The metromover is free to use and takes you to many different stops in Downtown, as well as to the Government Station Metro Station. The metro is different from the metromover. It goes from North to South to many stops in Miami (not just Downtown) and it costs to use it - usually around $5/day.

Free Though locals might think of it more as a crowded, elevated, rolling soup kitchen, taking the entire loop from Brickell up to the Arsht Center and back is a great way to see the city from above. And should the cay mysteriously stop for no reason as it does once in a while, you can cross “walking the Mover tracks” off your Miami bucket list.

A free mass transit train that services the Brickell/Downtown area. Great for sightseeing on a rainy day.
