A family favorite. Very scenic, marine sanctuary. 'point and click' destination where any pic will shine Easy to moderate hike. Pack a picnic for an enjoyable outing.

There are literally baby seals here and it looks like mermaid could also live here too.

One of my favorite hiking spots. lots of trails to choose from. if you go at the right time of year you can see otter pups in the bay with their parents. there's also historical whaling cabin and information on the canning industry and the people who lived here during that time period.

China Cove, located in the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, is alone worth the trip. Stunningly beautiful. The reserve also boasts some easy walking trails surrounded by breathtaking views.

“Clean, sunny, long stretch of beach to walk on or watch surfers learn the sport. Arguable the best dog beach in the world. Also adjacent to the 11th hole of the famous Pebble Beach golf course. You can see professional golfers and celebrities playing above the beach, and if you're lucky, a golf ball might come bounding done for you as a souvenir!”

“This hike is a local favorite! It can be as easy or hard as you want it to be as there are tons of trails to chose from! If you do choose to go to the top of Snivley's Ridge I recommend packing water and a small snack.”
