Such a great place all year round and especially the holidays . All lit up and piano bar. Restaurant great and bar great so charming. Can’t come to Carmel and not stop by!

The Cypress Inn has a great bar and patio area for snacks and drinks. This Beautiful Inn was co-owned by Doris Day, and is currently still owned and operated by beloved Carmel resident Denny LeVett.

Outside of Paris, it was not cool to take your dog out to lunch but Dorris Day helped change that by opening the Cypress Inn in Carmel. Dogs get their own bowls and treats are welcome on the sofa and you will have great food and a good time eating in the courtyard near one of the fireplaces. If cypress is busy try Forge in the Forest.

Doris Day's hotel and is always entertaining. Music on Weekends. Great food, Great outdoor Courtyard and you can eat with your dogs at the bar.
