From a natural balcony, which resulted from the collapse of the cave roof, you can survey an area of approx. 100 m² with rare stalactites and stalagmites. The hall is about 40 km long with excellent acoustics and sometimes concerts are here organised.

Beach
“Myrtos Beach is one of the most beautiful and most photographed beaches in Greece and one of the best attractions of Kefalonia. The white sands and the turquoise blue waters create a splendid contrast. It is located on the island's northwest coast, near Assos, between two mountains and the view from the cliff tops is absolutely stunning. It is located about 30 km from Argostoli. The beach itself is a little wild, there's no natural shade from the afternoon sun, and there are strong currents, so you need to be a confident swimmer. There aren’t many places to eat on the beach but there are several restaurants on the main road very close by.”

Natural Feature
“Melissani Cave is located about 2km from the town of Sami, and 10 km from Argostoli. The cave had actually been hidden underground for many hundreds of years, then over time, the roof collapsed and created this incredible spot to see where sunlight enters through the hole in the roof, creating amazing shades of blue-colored light on the cave walls. The best visual effects occur around noon, when the sun is overhead. Archaeological finds suggest that the cave may once have been used as an ancient place of worship, known as the Cave of the Nymphs. Once here, buy a ticket and head on inside the cave area itself. Then hop on one of the boats and take a ride across the lake itself. The water is so beautiful and crystal clear, it’s stunning to see.”
