Avithos is a nice beach on the southern side of Kefalonia. Golden and with crystal water, Avithos is surrounded by a wild steep cliff.

A beautiful sandy beach with tavernas and beach bar with sunbeds and umbrellas at the centre part and more privacy and clothes optional areas at the two far ends of the beach.

11 km away. A part of the beach has umbrellas and is organised, but a big part of it is as nature intended. It is a favourite of mine where you can find a spot to be on your own away from the crowd
