Amazing BBQ! Call ahead to order as he runs out of some items quickly. It's about 30 minutes away, but so worth it!

Martin is the nicest man in Prunedale and his tri-tip sandwich with flaming hot fritos is the best sandwich in California according to Yelp. Martin makes a different tasty soup everyday that he often wants you to "just taste." The plates of food he serves are combinations of smoked potatoes, dry rub sausages, chicken, ribs, and tri-tip. He tosses in a big hunk of french bread and whatever else he has on hand. This is a cash only place and he does not sauce the meat. He only stays open until he runs out of food.

Go see Martin - he's the best! You have never seen a better Yelp review rating... We can't figure out how he stays in business since he gives away more food than he sells. Everything on his menu is good, but he Tri-Tip sandwich is most unique. The toppings he puts on that sandwich are different every time and seem to be whatever he has near him at the moment of assembly, including Taki's corn chips or flaming hot Doritos! Don't go here if you are into ambiance or pretense because this place is on the other end of the spectrum.
