The crown-jewel of Whatcom County, Mt. Baker Ski Area has the world record for snowfall in a single ski season. This amazing resort is only an hour and a half from our guest suite. Ski and snowboard rentals are available at the White Salmon lodge.

On a clear day prepare to be awe struck by the beautiful mountains and forests. On a cloudy or rainy day it’s still worth it - the drive up is a beautiful rainforest and sometimes you still get a peek of the mountains. It’s about 90 minutes driving - be sure to stop for a coffee and snack on Glacier at the Wake N Bakery.
