Just off Route 28 is the small town of Phoenicia. Nestled at the base of three mountains, Mt. Tremper, Romer Mountain, and Sheridan Mountain, the town packs a lot in — from antiques and arts to wood-fired pizzas.

Gorgeous little mountain town. Home to the famous Tinker Tubing, Catskill Mountain Railway and Sweet Sues - the best breakfast in the Catskills. Great stopping spot on a day trip up in the mountains. Loads of hiking trails head out from very near the town center.
