Lovely Art-Deco Lido and one of the only sea-water coastal lidos left in the UK. You can hire sun loungers and deck-chairs. The water temperature is bracing but worth it. Full price £4.50, concessions £3.50.

Situated in historic Barbican area of Plymouth. Real sense of pre- war seaside. Wonderful cliff-side cafe next to Lido. I’ve never had the chance to go to the Lido but it is on my wish list- approx. 40 minute drive via A38 route.

Originally built in 1935, this art-deco style, Grade II listed building, overlooking the sea, is open for outdoor saltwater swimming between late May and early September.
