If your taste buds are a little trickier to satisfy, take the back roads less travelled into Milton. (Limestone Road, Appleby, Steeles). Not only will you enjoy some delightful country scenes, winding roads, river views and a view of the CN tower on a clear day but you will avoid any traffic on the 401.
They have daily lunch specials which are absolutely fabulous and come with a spring roll and hot and sour soup along with the main course. Also, the service is fantastic and the owner Michelle and her staff are very friendly! If you like hot and sour soup, this is a must try item as it is by far my favourite menu item next to the pad thai !
