If you have a bike or want to walk in the morning to 8th Ave, Andrews on 8th is a cute little independent cafe for a completely different scene if you want to pass on the Starbucks and go for a local hangout.

Brown's Social House is about a 10 minute walk down Lonsdale. It is a lively restaurant chain, great salads with add-on's and burgers and such. Fun atmosphere, you can't reserve but they will text you if you don't want to wait in line and you can wander down to Lower Lonsdale and poke around in the shops while you wait. There is a smaller (and older) Brown's even closer to the suite on Lonsdale and 18th.

After your day of adventure, enjoy food and drinks on the beautiful patio of the Rusty Rail BBQ & Grill or book in advance for a table at the Peak Chalet fine dining restaurant.
