This is a grassy knoll on the southern side of the Lighthouse/Water Tower, which overlooks the stretch of beach from Buddina south. For a location, the view can’t be beaten. The main drawback is that it is a highly exposed piece of land, and any wind from any direction can quickly build. Any wind over 15 knots is probably going to prove to be too windy for this location.
Access to this area is easiest from the top carpark of Pacific Boulevard, via a 150 metre path which includes a small incline. The closest amenities block is located within the carpark. The carpark has a popular lookout over the beach, where many wedding parties have guests waiting and enjoying the view.
