This hole-in-the-wall restaurant doesn't look like much but boy is it great! They have huge portions and the food is AMAZING! I get the loaded nachos with pulled pork and my parents get the pulled pork pizza or the fish tacos! The fish tacos are, according to them, excellent! There is a great happy hour and this place is usually always packed so try to get there early and you might get $3 margaritas! I would definitely go to VIP if you love Mexican food! And try to get there early because if you go too late (after 5:15!) you will have to wait. There is a bar outside and and place where you can order drinks outside as well. You won't regret indulging at VIP's!

VIP Lounge & Mexican Restaurant

The Hurricane is a PAG staple and a must-go-to restaurant!! It's only a few blocks away from the bungalow and has fantastic outdoor seating or second story seating. The food is really delicious and I highly recommend going to this restaurant! I just recently got the blackened grouper and it was wonderful! I also recommend the grouper bites and grouper sandwiches! There is a rooftop deck that is a great spot to take in the sunset. The Pina coladas are very good! At night, there is music on the rooftop deck so it gets a little louder once the sun sets.

Hurricane Seafood Restaurant
809 Gulf WayThe Hurricane is a PAG staple and a must-go-to restaurant!! It's only a few blocks away from the bungalow and has fantastic outdoor seating or second story seating. They food is also phenomenal!! I love the seared ahi tuna. The appetizer portion is huge and is dinner sized! I was told by my friend who frequently goes to the Keys that it was the best ahi tuna he ever had! I recommend trying it!

The views are absolutely incredible and I'm in heaven sitting out there on a windy day!! They play easy listening (Chicago type music) and have fans as well. Inside it's a restaurant sports bar. They food is also phenomenal!! I love the seared ahi tuna. The appetizer portion is huge and is dinner sized! I was told by my friend who frequently goes to the Keys that it was the best ahi tuna he ever had! I recommend trying it!

Please do go to the Seahorse as it is also a PAG staple. The breakfasts are delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the ambiance is very special. Another must-go-to restaurant. You will not regret it!!

I love to go there at sunset because the views are great, a crowd gathers especially during the weekends or at sunset, there is live fun music on the weekends all day, and someone rings a bell at sunset! I've taken some fantastic photos of the sunset and the crowd there and they bring back special memories of PAG for me. The food is also surprisingly really good!! They are open for breakfast too and I heard the coffee is fantastic! I had guests that would go there for coffee in the mornings and loved it!

Sea Critters is another really good seafood restaurant on the island and it can be walked to from the cottage but it is not just a few blocks away so you'll have to be in the mood for a walk if you want to travel by foot! The food is a fancier and it isn't as casual as the other restaurants such as The Hurricane or Brass Monkey, but I highly recommend going there! I always enjoy my time at Sea Critters!

The food is a fancier and it isn't as casual as the other restaurants such as The Hurricane or Brass Monkey, but I highly recommend going there! I always enjoy my time at Sea Critters!

There is live music up front Friday & Saturday 7 pm to 10 pm & Sunday’s at 4 pm to 7pm, to the spectacular views off the back decks, 15 TVs to watch your favorite sports (NFL & College Packages), and a full bar
Parks & Nature
Nature lovers will find osprey nests, a wide variety of shorebirds, and one of the few remaining virgin slash pine forests in South Florida. The park boasts several nature trails and bird observation areas. Visitors can swim, fish, and snorkel in the warm waters of the Gulf or picnic while they enjoy the beautiful scenery. Shelling is particularly good here, as the Gulf currents deposit an incredible variety of seashells on the shore. Showers are available and the park's concession has a gift shop and snack bar. Located at the extreme west end of State Road 586. I have never gone to Honeymoon Island but heard from several guests how amazing this Island is. According to them, it's a must-see!

Houses a great collection of art on Beach Drive in downtown St. Pete! I would highly recommend an afternoon at the museum and a dinner at any one of the fabulous restaurants on Beach Drive. It is a bustling, lively scene and good food can be had pretty much anywhere! You can't go wrong doing this for a day!

The collection includes over 2,100 works from every moment and in every medium of his artistic activity, including 96 oil paintings, many original drawings, bookworks, prints, sculpture, photos, manuscripts and an extensive archive of documents. A must-see!! Especially if you are interested in seeing art and are wanting a break from beautiful PAG!!

Dollar Tree is my favorite dollar store because the items are actually $1! You can find all types of things in here ranging from bathing products to cute decorations for a beach party! I would recommend checking it out especially if you are already close by because of Winn Dixie! There are soaps, deodorant, toothpaste, the essentials available for $1! If you are shopping on a budget this is a go-to place to shop!
