At first glance, the sitting spells less than impressive. But once you have ordered and tasted ... The burgers here are larger than life, heaped with fixings of onions, lettuce and beef bacon- the Western bacon BBQ burger is a messy challenge, while the colossal burger is so enormous only the very brave should try finishing it. They do serve breakfast but cant say much as we have never tried it ourselves. This is one of the few restaurants that does not factor in a service charge, so be sure to add in the extra tip yourself.

Great first stop to get a taste of Syrian food. Al Aseel is known for its 'Shawerma'. Pick your choice between chicken or meat wrappers. Also recommend their roasted chicken. It can be ordered in a meal box along with fries.

Dusit Thani is less than 10 minutes by Uber. A bit on the pricey side, the Benjarong restaurant offers authentic Thai cuisine. Make sure to book in advance and ask about dress code. The Gayer-Anderson Museum is an art museum located in Cairo, Egypt. It is situated adjacent to the Mosque of Ahmad ibn Tulun in the Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood. The building takes its name from Major R.G. Gayer-Anderson Pasha, who resided in the house between 1935 and 1942 with special permission from the Egyptian Government. The museum is noted for being one of the best-preserved examples of 17th-century domestic architecture left in Cairo, and also for its vast collection of furniture, carpets, curio, and other objects.

This makes for a great day trip. Faiyum is about 170 km away by car. Wadi El Rayan is a protected area. It is known for its Wadi Rayan waterfall and sand dunes. Outdoor activities include sand surfing, horse back riding, bird watching, beach bonfire. Wadi Al Hitan is a nearby fossil area dating back to 40 million years. Faiyum is also popular for its pottery handicrafts. In the 1980s, Evelyne Porret, a potter from Switzerland, moved here with her husband Michel Pastore, and built a house and pottery studio.
