Indian Rocks Beach is one of the best beaches for family holidays! Indian rocks beach has fine sand and clear waters. You can see some amazing sunsets at this beach!
Every beach access point has showers, a walkway through the mangrove, and a sign that says "leave nothing but your foot-prints".
Some of the beach access points even have a mini library where you can borrow and leave books for the adults to enjoy!

Heads up: the gift shop and snack bar close at 5 pm.

There's a dog beach, and ferry to a couple of keys.
Take a walk down the pier, swim at the beach, walk through the fort, go to the gift shop, or rent bikes.
Heads up: the gift shop and snack bar close at 5 pm.

One of the favorite parts of Florida is Belleair Beach. Beautiful beaches and sunsets throughout this "best kept secret" on the Florida coast. A very family friendly location. Your most enjoyable part of staying here is avoiding all of the congestion associated with Clearwater while being merely 5 minutes away.

Awesome little nature preserve right in the middle of Indian Rocks Beach. Just off the boardwalk is a kids playground and next to the parking area / restrooms is a dog park. Nice level boardwalk, ample parking and restrooms. Good leisurely 15-30 minute walk.

Beautiful area! November and through the winter, manatees come to hang out. The water is so clear, it is so easy to see them! Places to kayak, boat rides, and hiking! You also absolutely have to walk through the garden outside, lots of fun photo opportunities! Lastly, don't forget to attach your wristband to the wish tree! You can do it yourself, or you can leave it in a box up front for museum staff to put on the tree for you (but it's more fun and personal to do it yourself).
